Battalion Chief Brandon Dahlen began his fire service career with the Center Point Fire District as a volunteer in January 2000. He was later hired as a Firefighter/ Paramedic in April 2003. During this time, he also served with other local departments, both large and small. He has held assignments at all Center Point stations throughout his career, and has been promoted through the ranks fromfirefighter/paramedic to Lieutenant, then Captain, and now to his current title of Battalion Chief. He completed his EMT-Paramedic through UAB, obtained an associate’s degree in Fire Science at Wallace State, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University. As well as working at CPFD, he also works in the air medical transport field for eight years, and holds a Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C).

In addition to his skills and knowledge as a firefighter/paramedic he also has a strong background in the construction industry. He has organized and lead several projects across all stations including the most recent “Clean Room” construction projects, which is part of the departments firefighter cancer awareness prevention initiative. Battalion Chief Dahlen is a lifelong resident of the Center Point area and looks forward to serving his community and department for several years to come.
